Books I'm Looking Forward to in 2015, Books I Loved in 2014
By Alex Segura
2014 went by in a flash...and it was a great year for books. Somehow, it looks like 2015 might be able to top it. I put together a quick list of the books I'm most looking forward to on Riffle. I've probably missed a few and I'm sure there'll be a sleeper or two that'll knock me over, but going into the year, these are the books that I've got my sights on. Thanks to Erin Mitchell for inspiring me to do this with her 2015 list - and formatting!
I should also note that Chris F. Holm's THE KILLING KIND is high on this list - it just wasn't coming up for some reason while I built it. Same goes for the next Reed Farrel Coleman book, which I believe kicks off a new series. Plus, anything by Megan Abbott, Kelly Braffet, Lauren Beukes, Steve Weddle and Henning Mankel. Though, I don't believe they have new ones coming out in 2015. This is me passively whining about that. I also don't really use Riffle, but I like their list-making feature.
Anyway, I'll add/edit the list over the next few weeks, but very curious to hear your thoughts and what your most anticipated books are. As an added bonus, I've included a "Best of 2014" list below.
Keep in mind these aren't in any particular order. All the books were great reads!

Eek! So excited you included BLESSED ARE THE DEAD! Thanks so much, my friend!
Do Dave White, Ian Rankin and Byron Quartermous have the same cover artist?
Both lists are very exciting. I am anticipating many of the same books you are (besides the few of those I have already read), and will look into the few I don't have on my list currently.
