Talk to Me

Okay, I'm going to cheap out here, but hopefully it'll pay-off later.  I'm always curious about what people who read blogs want to read about.

Each night I sit here and check Twitter and Facebook and my own writing looking for a topic or two to write about here.  This week, the debate was the big topic--and as I've blogged about recently--my writing has slowed... because, well, you know... life.

So, talk to me.  I need some topics to pick up over the next few weeks.

What would you like to read about here every Tuesday?

Anything but writing. Crime, the news, beer, sports, things we're passionate about.

I don't come here to read about the news. I come here to read about crime fiction.
I like to see how the writing process works and what are the good books to read and what authors am I probably should pay attention to.

Yeah, crime. How do you pick the crimes that your characters will get involved in? Do you spend much time considering the differences between illegal and immoral?

Business, business, business of writing. Contracts, scams, things you are aware of that fledgling writers may not know. These are the rarest of the rare topics for writers. Money, business, contracts, royalties, collections, getting paid. It's a freaking desert wasteland out there for hardcore, nuts and bolts INFORMATION.
