Smartest thing I ever did. (As a writer.) I found last year I came back ready to go, and got twice as much work done, and it was better, cleaner work, to boot.<br /><br />I'm due to start up again after Labor Day, and I'm already getting the itch. Now I'm making myself wait (I may work on an outline a little).
